  3. • Voice/Sound annotation utility:
  4. - With "Read My Lips" you can attach sounds to documents you create with popular word processing, desktop publishing, and presentation software.  Currently it works with Mac Write, Mac Write II, Microsoft Word, Nisus, WordPerfect, Aldus PageMaker, and Microsoft Powerpoint.  More and more applications are being added, call us for the latest.

  6. - You can record your own voice/sounds and attach it to documents or use pre-recorded sounds and attach them to documents.  We support both the built-in microphones of the new Macintoshes as well as MacRecorder.

  8. - Under System software version 6.0.7 we take advantage of the new Sound Manager and offer advanced features such as record to disk and play from disk.  You do not have to have System software 6.0.7 for "Read My Lips" to work, but if you do more features are available.

  10. - "Read My Lips" places a SoundNote™ in your document to show you where the sound is.  SoundNotes can also be cut and pasted between the applications that "Read My Lips" supports.

  12. •The PLAY ONLY version:
  13. - "PLAY ONLY Read My Lips" is the companion software to the commercial version of "Read My Lips".  It allows you to play sounds that have been attached to documents using the commercial version of "Read My Lips".
  14. You CANNOT attach sounds to documents or record sounds with this "play only" version.  These functions are available in the commercial version only.

  17. - Place "Read My Lips" in your System Folder and restart your Macintosh.
  18. The program is "hot key" activated.  The hot key can be changed from the Control Panel.

  27. -This PLAY ONLY version can be freely distributed as long as this Read Me File is included, and the example document is included.  The PLAY ONLY version may NOT be sold.
